Tough day on the road today...three named climbs and many miles
Another new best friend made along the way....isn't she beautiful? And she poses so prettily...
The owner of the Silver Jack Inn told me that the town of Baker does not have a mayor or even a police department. He said that if trouble should arise the police have to come from the town of Ely...65 miles away. As a side note he stated that the last crime in Baker was in 1986....
Just 7 miles down the road from Baker, we crossed into the State of Utah

Penny's Diner, open 24/7, is right on the hotel property....sweet! Even got coupons for $5.50 off breakfast good from 4:30 a.m to 11 a.m. The riders are stoked.
Tomorrow we head to Cedar City, UT and a much needed rest day.
