6/2/2014 - Austin, NV to Eureka, NV

77 miles

It was another early morning for the riders as the horde was at the door of the International Cafe across the street from the Lincoln Motel at 5:55 a.m.

Saw some beautiful horses along the route

Marnie & Miriam taking a break

Jerry enjoying the ride

Jim chatting up a storm

Nick after conquering Mt. Airy ...

Richard poses at Hickison Summit

Petroglyph Interpretive Site along Route 50

There were many signs noting wheatgrass seeding operations

Beautiful scenery

Drilling history of the Eureka area

It was a long day with some head winds as well as cross winds however everyone made it.

We had ice cream at Happy Hour....it seemed to be a big hit...it was. Very subdued meeting...I think everyone is feeling the effects of several long climbing routes....and tomorrow is no different.

We are staying at the Gold Country Inn (used to be a Best Western). It is very nice and the rooms a big.

Tomorrow we are off to Ely, NV.
