The flooding is still causing us to adjust, but it is minor. Today we shuttled over a gravel / packed dirt road 11 miles and the riders were around the flooding and on their bikes for a 61 mile day to Vermillion, SD.
Vermillion is located in the southeast corner of South Dakota. It derived its name from the Sioux, WASE WAKAPALA [wa sa wak pa'la] meaning 'red stream.
Tomorrow we are off to Sioux City, Iowa - a short riding day and then Tuesday is a long-awaited rest day.
