Epic, Road Trip # 2 - Day 7

R3/5/2014 - Artesia, NM to Silver City, NM

Before hitting the road this morning, we took a quick tour around Artesia to look at all of the beautiful bronze statues.

On our way to White Sands, NM we stopped in Cloudcroft, NM for breakfast and we were greeted with SNOW! It is understandable since we were at 8,600+ ft elevation.

Breakfast was delicious! 

Then we got to White Sands National Monument, NM. Just awesome. Haven't been here in 30+ years and it is more awesome if that is possible...

Then we headed NW to Silver City, NM and the Gila Cliff Dwellings...arrived late, so we got a hotel and went to dinner.

Tomorrow it is onto the Gila Cliff Dwellings!
