Driving south and East. California is having a drought, obvious from looking at the parched grasses.
lots of climbing and tight switchbacks, but i survived!
Spent the night just outside of the park and planned out the next day or so. I'm ahead of schedule one day... so I am breaking tomorrow into two shorter days, and then I'll be back on track with reservations along the way.
