The first day of riding of the Rockies - Flathead Lake, Glacier, Waterton & Fernie Ride began with a group of 21 riders leaving the Best Western Grant Creek Inn and pedalling to the town of Ronan, MT.
During the ride we got to see the Evaro Hill Wildlife Overcrossing, the Garden of 1,000 Buddas National Bison Range, St. Ignatius Mission and we were supposed to see the Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana, but alas it was Sunday and it was closed. It is so hard to remember what day of the week it is when every day is Saturday!
Tomorrow we are off to Bigfork, MT along the eastern route of Flathead Lake.
